“It is neither wealth nor splendor; but tranquility and occupation which give you happiness.”
–Thomas Jefferson
Many of us define ourselves and each other through what we do for a living. I’m lucky enough to make mine doing something I dreamed about as a kid. Capturing what other peoples achieved dreams are through occupational portraits I’ve done of them is one of the greatest joys of my job. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot in a diverse range of environments, from an airport tarmac, to wild Georgia outbacks, to hospital operating rooms while surgery is going on. This diversity is why I appreciate being a location photographer. The world is my studio -- and your work environment can be, too.
